Many adult and youth helpers provided assistance for the many activities and games planned for the week for all the children who came to enjoy the weeks activities. The week was a great success again this year. 185 children attended and 65 adults and youth volunteered to help teach the children about God’s love. Many students and adults from this area participated in the Catholic Heart Work Camp in Oklahoma City this June. The group from this area was the biggest group of all the participants there. Our group helped an elderly lady paint her house inside and outside. The evenings were spent with different activities for prayer, reflection and entertainment. A Training Session was held on Wed, May 29, 2013, for all lay ministers and servers in the newly renovated church, at 4:30 pm for the servers and at 6 PM for all Cantors, Organists, Commentators/Lectors, & Eucharistic Ministers. New changes for the Mass was reviewed with all and will begin this coming weekend with the Re-dedication of the newly renovated church.
