Vacation Bible School – June 2009
Around 177 children 4 yrs. old to 6th grade participated in the All-Faiths Community Vacation Bible School held June 8th – 12th at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca. The theme was SON ROCk Kids Camp – an outdoor adventure bible camp like no other! The children learned about God’s love for them through games, bible stories, bible verses, crafts, and activities. Over seventy-five adults and youth volunteered to help these children learn about their faith. Like the apostle Peter, they had an opportunity to explore who they are in Jesus Christ – the most important relationship of all! The mission collection brought in $706.00 which will sent to an orphange in Mexico and to local families in need. At the end of the week a program and picnic was held for family members and the children.
