Schiffbauer-Rippe Benefit Dinner 11-09
November 8, 2009 . . . . . . . . . .A Spagetti Benefit dinner was held for Ralph Schiffbauer and Ben Rippe, both husbands of SPPS teachers who were each diagnosed with having cancer. The benefit was held today at the new Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Hall. Over 40 gift baskets were made up and donated to be put on a silent auction that day during the benefit. Each grade level made up at least one basket, as well as from the staff, the parish office, and other individuals.
A huge crowd attended the event.
The SPPS faculty, staff, 7th and 8th grade students and a few parents worked the event. Spouses of the faculty and staff also helped with the benefit.
