While the T-Th class has started weekly story time with Miss Divelbiss. They are also enjoying the “Second Step” program with Mrs. Melster. All of the classes have been making Christmas presents and constructing lots of art activities to make the room look festive. The computer classes and Promethean board activities taught by Mrs. Haverkamp are a big success! All the kids enjoy them. All the children are looking forward to the rest of the year.

The MWF morning Preschool children had their Christmas party this morning in their classroom. The following photos were taken of the fun event. For an enlarged view click on the photo.
They did lots of different activities:
One of the activities was that the class sat in a circle and passed around a Santa hat while Christmas music was playing in the background. Whoever had the hat when the music stopped got to keep the present inside of it. All of the children received a fun gift while playing this game.
Another one of the games played was: The children took turns being blindfolded, while one at a time, the other classmates took turns saying ”Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas” in funny voices. The child blindfolded had to guess which classmate said it. Lots of laughs during this game.
All the children loved sitting at their tables and making Santa Hats.
Another game played was: Santa, Santa, Reindeer (the same as Duck, Duck, Goose)
The party ended with juice, cheese and crackers.
The kids had a fun morning.
Parent helpers included: Tisha Hermesch, Julie Sudbeck, Jesse Macke, Dana Deters, Erik Ganstrom and Briana Uphaus.
