Catholic Heart Work Camp 2009

 

Catholic Heart Work Camp. . . . . . . . July 19 to July 24, 2009.   

 The main goal of this camp is for the youth to serve others as Jesus asks us to do.

CHWC 2009 Youth Comments

The first three photos shown here are of the group of teens and adult leaders gathering around outside the buses after their arrival in Champaign, IL, at approximately 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon, July 19th.  The two chartered buses carried passengers from Frankfort, St. Mary’s, Seneca, and Wamego.

These next 12 photos show work teams that were formed.  These teams are practicing team-building skills before they set out to go to work the next day.     It was an opportunity for the teens and leaders to get to know one another within the group they’ll be with thru-out the week.

Camp participants share an evening meal together in the cafeteria of the school.

During  the week of CHWC the teens gathered together for an evening program.   The following photos were taken of some of our group participating in the skits and performances during the evening program.
