Statewide Novena To End Abortion In Kansas

From September 7th ( Vigil of the Birth of Mary) to Sept.15th (Our Lady of Sorrows), there will be a 9-day Novena to End Abortion in Kansas. Catholics throughout the state are asked to pray, fast, pray a Holy Hour, attend Mass, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Pray the ” Seven Sorrows Rosary”. On regular Rosary beads, meditate on each of Mary’s 7 Sorrows ( 2 extra decades.)

15th Annual Kelly Youth Rally Photos – Aug 2012

August 18, 2012. . . . . . . . .

This years Kelly Youth Rally event hosted youth from 14 different parishes in the Nemaha-Marshall area between the ages of 12 and 18. The rally focused on sharing faith experiences and listening to quality Christian speakers and music. The students, also, enjoyed a hayrack ride, a barbecue supper and the highlight of the day was an outdoor evening Mass that concludes each yearly rally. Archbishop Joseph Naumann was the main celebrant at the Mass this year.

*SPPS – Calling All Communities 2012

 

Calling All Communities: August 10, 2012

US Cellular and Heinen True Value will once again sponsor the Calling All Communities campaign.

Sheryl Heinen says some of the guidelines may be a little different this year – such as a shorter time frame to vote. The school with the most votes wins $150,000, and the following 17 schools will each win $50,000. Official rules will be available when the program launches in September.

Vacation Bible School June 2012

Vacation Bible School was held for children of all Faiths at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish on June 4th thru 8th, Monday thru Friday, from 9 am until 12 noon each day. The children participated in many different activities during the week. A variety of photos were taken and a few are presented here.

National Catholic Youth Conference – Nov. 2011 Photo Gallery

Youth representatives from Sts. Peter and Paul Parish attended the Indianapolis’ National Catholic Youth Conference which took place November 17-19, 2011 . They joined many Catholic Youth from across the United States who just all gathered together to celebrate and have fun together. Kids signed each other’s shirts, traded items such as necklaces, hats, etc. and texted each other.
