December 14, 2012 . . . . . . Photo update of current construction going on to the Church Narthex Addition. Shingles are being put on today on the west side. The east side of the Narthex is shingled. The Open House for the Church Renovation Project is this Sunday, at 2PM in the new gymnasium. There will be a presentation on the progress of the project, time line, color scheme, pew samples, lighting, and sound system. Everyone is invited to the presentation on the church progress! Cement work was being done todayon the early construction work of the building of the Narthex in front of the church. The wall frames were put in place along with the rebar, etc. and the workers were ready for the cement by 1:30 pm this afternoon. A representative from the Archdiocese and a representative from the company that planned the Narthex were on site to view the work being done today. Work continues on the brick and block repair work on the outside of the church on all sides. Workers are currently working on the east side of the church. Sunday, August 19, 2012 . . . . . . . .. . . All members of the parish were invited to the Ground Breaking for the Narthex addition of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church today. Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann celebrated the 9:oo AM Mass. Immediately following the Mass, Archbishop Naumann preformed a blessing of the foundation for the parish’s church project. There was a reception in the parish hall following the 7:00 and 9:00 am Masses.
August 20, 2012 . . . . . . . . The current sound system within the church is being replaced. Representatives from the company were in church today setting up a new system while some members of the parish were in church listening to the new system from the different areas and pews inside the church. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
