SPP school Demolition 2008

Demolition of the old Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School building began the week of July 14, 2008. The roof was removed Tues morning, July 15, from the bell tower. Plans are to replicate the bell tower on the new school building to hold the bell and roof. With heavy equipment called in for the job, demolition of the former Sts. Peter and Paul Grade School went quickly, and the building was reduced to rubble. A large crowd watched the procedure on Tues. July 15th. Many snapshots were taken and a video was filmed to save memories for the future.
